• Perform maintenance and repair of residential standby generators and associated systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues in generator units
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Test and verify generator functionality, including load testing and system calibration
• Provide clear communication and technical guidance to customers regarding system operation and maintenance
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities

• Proven experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting, preferably with residential generators or similar equipment
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control panels
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
