Role Description

We are seeking a full-time AV Service and Installation Technicians to join our team in an on-site role based in Plainview, NY. The AV Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Audio-Visual systems across diverse commercial, industrial, and government settings. Responsibilities include setting up video conferencing systems, digital signage, projectors, video walls and audio systems, performing diagnostics and repairs, and providing excellent technical support to clients.

This role will involve frequent collaboration with a skilled team to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications
  • Hands-on technical skills in Audio Visual (AV) systems and experience with setting up and maintaining projectors, video displays, and related equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities, particularly with AV components, system errors, and technical malfunctions
  • Knowledge of video conferencing systems and their integration into AV setups
  • Understanding of lighting and its role in professional AV environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Ability to adapt to different client needs and settings, including commercial and industrial environments
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as needed for on-site support
  • Previous experience in AV installation or low voltage systems is a plus
