Human Resources Manager
Acupath Laboratories, Inc. operates a CLIA-approved, NYS-licensed, and CAP-accredited Diagnostics Division that includes Molecular Genetic and FISH testing. Acupath is a 24 hour/7 day a week facility.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and providing strategic HR support to the organization.
Pay Range: $70k - $80 / year Responsibilities:- Manage full-cycle onboarding, including new hire documentation, trainings and integration into the company.
- Administer and maintain compliance with E-Verify and employment eligibility requirements.
- Process and review payroll for accuracy maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
- Manage multi-state payroll taxes.
- Coordinate with finance and third-party vendors to ensure timely tax filings.
- Work with broker to manage benefit programs including health, dental, vision.
- Administer ACA related tasks, which include preparation and distribution of 1095-C forms.
- Oversee 401(k) plan administration, this includes enrollment, contribution and compliance testing.
- Administer all leaves including FMLA, SDBL.
- Manage workers’ compensation claims.
- Respond to unemployment claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review, update and implement company policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Work directly with executive team to implement best practices for company.
- Experience in human resources management with previous experience in HR Program Development, employee relations, and performance management.
- Knowledge of employment law including FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, labor contracts, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Paycom experience is a plus.
