Spine Search is working with a growing orthopedic practice in Nassau County is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to support one orthopedic surgeon. This is a role for a biller with strong expertise in orthopedic procedures, including spine-related cases.
ResponsibilitiesThe Medical Biller will be responsible for the full revenue cycle for one orthopedic surgeon, including charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, and follow-up. The role requires experience with out-of-network (OON) billing and Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) processes, as well as handling appeals and payer communications. Ensuring accurate coding, timely reimbursement, and compliance with payer and regulatory requirements is essential.
Qualifications- Must have 4+ years of medical billing experience
- Experience in orthopedic billing required
- Specific knowledge of spine cases, OON billing, and IDR workflows.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
