Position: Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)

Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) – Long Island, NY

Achieve Beyond is seeking a dedicated Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) to provide special services to children with special needs throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Base Pay Range
: $52.00/hr – $58.00/hr (depending on skills and experience)

Job Overview

As a Licensed Masters Social Worker, you will deliver ongoing special instruction and ABA services in homes, community, and clinic settings, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support families to achieve their children’s goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing special instruction and/or ABA services to children (ages birth-3) in their most natural environment.
  • Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry‑over.
  • Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
  • Follow the unique therapy plan established for each family/child, plan for ongoing treatment, and address identified goals while documenting progress.
  • Prepare progress reports and maintain child records, ensuring confidentiality of information in accordance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York.
  • 1–2 years of experience working with children (birth‑5 preferred but not required).
  • Self‑motivated, team player, patient, and professional.
  • Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel to and from assigned cases, including driving personal vehicle, walking, or using public transportation.
  • Ability to ascend and descend staircases.
  • Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods.
