The Electronics Engineering Technician I supports design engineering and development activities and uses electronic and mechanical testing equipment. This role involves hands‑on prototyping and testing, setting up equipment, keeping records, and performing routine repairs.

• Verify and operate automated test equipment, special test equipment and test cables
• Testing, troubleshooting and repair of subassemblies and systems
• Assist with installations and upgrades of equipment
• Uses Digital Multimeters and Oscilloscopes, as well as other test and measurement equipment
• Assemble test fixtures and set up test equipment for product development team
• Recommend tools, equipment and test fixture needs and support acquisition
• Perform hands‑on prototyping and testing of new and modified designs under direction of Design Engineering personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• No experience required in area of responsibility
• High School Diploma or GED
• Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered
• Associate’s degree or certificate in Electrical Engineering a plus

• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
• Pay Range: $24.66 - $30.22 hourly
