Engineering Test Technician

Entry‑Level Electrical Engineering Technician – Multiple Openings

A recent Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology graduate can jump‑start a career in the Aerospace & Defense industry with hands‑on experience alongside a talented engineering team.

Pay Range: $20.00–$23.00 per hour.

Start Date: Beginning of 2026.

Job Type: Contract to Hire.

Location: Plainview, NY (Fully onsite).

• Collaborate with electrical engineers to conduct tests and validate designs.
• Support production by designing test fixtures and implementing test protocols during manufacturing.
• Execute and document test protocols provided by electrical engineers.
• Diagnose field returns to determine root cause of failure.
• Prepare detailed test reports and repair evaluation forms for engineering review.
• Build small proof‑of‑concept prototypes (e.g., cables) for early‑stage design testing.
• Perform soldering and component changes on PCB assemblies during prototype bench testing.

• Proficiency with tools such as multimeters, soldering stations, oscilloscopes.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
• Accurate record‑keeping and ability to create clear written reports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Pay range: $20.00–$23.00 per hour.
