U‑Haul is searching for a bilingual (English/Spanish) team member to provide excellent customer service. You will be the face of U‑Haul’s exceptional service, ensuring customers get all the help they need on their journeys by inspecting and maintaining equipment and assisting with dispatch and return of equipment. This position offers on‑the‑job education.

- Assist customers inside and outside a U‑Haul center with U‑Haul products and services.
- Use smartphone‑based U‑Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
- Move and hook up U‑Haul trucks and trailers.
- Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
- Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
- Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
- Assist with self‑storage operations, including offering and selling storage units, supporting current customers with account questions and payments, and making payment reminder or collection calls as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
The work involves moderate risks requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts or machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required.
Physical DemandsSome physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, reaching objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs, assisted or unassisted.
