Bilingual Teacher For Autism – Plainfield (Spanish Required)

    Ability to communicate in Spanish with clients and families; fluency is preferred, but strong conversational ability is welcomed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions that support independence and positive behavior.
  • Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
  • Foster a positive learning environment and build strong connections with families.
  • Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisors to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with Autism.
  • Spanish-speaking (fluency preferred, conversational required).
  • Willingness to learn, patience, compassion, and a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Ideal

Experience:

  • Education or early childhood development
  • Teaching assistant, paraprofessional, or instructional aide
  • Childcare, babysitting, after-school programs, or camp counseling
  • Behavioral health, mental health, or social services
  • ABA therapy or working with individuals with Autism
  • Supporting a neurodiverse family member or loved one

Additional Info:

Services are provided in clients’ homes or community-based locations.

Positions start part-time; looking for candidates willing to make a 6-month commitment
