As a Branch Ambassador, you'll use your love of working with people and sharing product knowledge to play a vital role in our customers' banking experience. You will perform a wide variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures. You will resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently to deliver an extraordinary customer experience.

• Engage with customers and connect with them whether helping with technology challenges, having casual conversations, or highlighting services and products.
• Help determine personal and business financial needs to reduce customer financial anxiety and connect customers with experts as needed.
• Follow audit, security policies and procedures in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations.
• Support customers in all branch areas, including cash handling and service needs, and rotate within the branch based on customer needs.
• Contribute to an overall retail customer experience with fewer handoffs, positioning each Ambassador as an expert.
• Be curious and eager to learn about Capital One products, services, and experiences to guide customers toward their financial goals.
• Demonstrate digital savvy by showcasing and educating customers on the branch’s laptops, iPads, and online/mobile banking channels.
• Work as part of a team of banking professionals and help inspire teammates.
• Research and answer customer inquiries to enhance retention and engagement, using tools and channels to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Travel between branches in the assigned local area to support the market as needed.

Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification; at least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience; at least 6 months of cash handling experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree; 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking Experience.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries are listed below by location; salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours. Locations and ranges:

Edison, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600;
Elizabeth, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600;
Iselin, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600;
Livingston, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600;
Lodi, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600;
Newark, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600;
Nutley, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600;
Plainfield, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600;
Union, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600;
West New York, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600;
West Paterson, NJ: $51,542 - $54,600.

Notes:
Candidates hired in other locations will be paid according to that location's range. Salaries for part-time roles are prorated. This role includes Capital One’s benefits, consistent with status and eligibility.
