Temp-to- Dock Worker - 2nd Shift

Job Details

Pay: $17.00/hr, plus $2.50/hr shift differential, with the opportunity for pay increases at 6 months and 1 year.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm, with overtime as required – could include Saturday and Sunday.

Location: 700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire: eligible for full-time, permanent, status change following your 90‑day probationary performance review.

• Sort, label, and build pallets per order and/or client.
• Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item conditions.
• Handle exceptions such as damaged, missing, or oversized items by adhering to Lakeside Book Company’s quality control procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting and handling procedure.

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.
• Ability to follow all safety guidelines, required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Steel toe shoes/boots, required.
