Shift hours: 6am-3:30pm

The incumbent is responsible for creating and preparing all documentation required for outbound domestic shipments from the Americas Distribution Center (ADC). Timely and accurate production of shipping documents is essential to ensure compliance and on‑time delivery. This role involves planning and executing various shipment types—including frozen, refrigerated, and hazardous materials—across multiple transportation modes such as air, truckload, and LTL. Daily activities require proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP) and effective coordination with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth operations.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicating effectively with carriers, drivers, third‑party logistics providers, and internal teams including warehouses, customer service, stakeholders, etc.
  • Monitoring shipment status, proactively resolving delays, and managing escalations to maintain service levels.
  • Preparing, verifying, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
  • Tracking freight costs, accessorial charges, delivery performance, and reporting transport damages or claims to appropriate contacts.
  • Managing shipping supplies (e.g., pallets) and coordinating shipment returns as needed.
  • Generating logistics status reports and supporting validation of transportation and warehouse initiatives.
  • Assisting in general warehouse operations and training team members on applicable transport and warehouse processes.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities to optimize domestic transportation for cost efficiency and service improvement.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shipping and transportation efficiency.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of applicable experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of 49‑CFR, IATA, IMDG Dangerous Goods training preferred.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work successfully within a team environment and self‑motivated to work independently.
  • Ability to critically think through multi‑step processes and follow up on details.
  • High ability to handle multiple priorities without losing details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills; freight software knowledge preferred.
  • Self‑motivated and ability to take ownership of work.
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
  • Knowledge of SAP WM and SAP Order Management preferred.
  • Willing to take on other departmental tasks as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to work in refrigerated and frozen environments handling and preparing perishable shipments.
  • Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
Base Pay Range

$48,080 – $66,110

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position, the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.
