A large-scale, clean, and climate-controlled distribution operation is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to support daily logistics and inventory movement. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone with hands-on material handling experience who values safety, accuracy, and steady work with the potential to earn more during peak season.

DailyResponsibilities
- Safely load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
- Process customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking pallets, and labeling inventory
- Operate material handling equipment using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Prevent product damage through proper handling and staging procedures
- Locate, retrieve, and replenish products in pick locations
- Report inventory discrepancies between physical counts and shipping documents
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and standard operating procedures
- Maintain forklift certification and complete required training modules
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional
- Follow all safety policies, attendance requirements, and operational guidelines
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating material handling equipment
- Reach Truck experience required
- Counterbalance (slip and clamp) and Dock Stocker experience preferred
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing for full 8‑hour shifts
- Ability to read and interpret distribution and inventory documents
- Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed
- Must wear a safety vest and safety shoes
Shift Options (Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday OT):
- First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Second Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
Pay Rates:
- First Shift: $18.50/hr
- Second Shift: $19.50/hr
- Peak Incentive (9/28/25 – 1/10/26):
- First Shift: $20.50/hr
- Second Shift: $21.50/hr
