Overview
OVERVIEW: The Machine Operator in the Wire Department is responsible for setting up and operating the bending machine to produce precise wire forms according to drawings and specifications. This role requires an individual that is technically minded in all stages of manufacturing. Experience with CNC operations is highly desirable.
ResponsibilitiesEducation and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of manufacturing experience.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work orders and SOPs in English. Ability to effectively respond to questions from coworkers at all levels of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
