Base pay range: $76,000.00/yr - $/yr

On a daily basis plans and schedules production to ensure production is carried out in a productive, safe, and cost‑efficient manner. Interacts frequently with on‑site Production Support teams and Team Leaders to ensure optimal efficiency, flow, and throughput.

• Establishes area‑specific standard operating procedures and ensures department employees are adequately trained.
• Reviews all associated reports and documentation for accuracy and consistency.
• Sets and communicates departmental objectives and provides direction, support, and coaching to Team Leaders.
• Monitors daily productivity KPIs and employee productivity reports; prepares action plans for substandard performance.
• Works closely with Human Resources associates to address employee performance issues per company policies.
• Reviews and audits current budget expenditures for cost savings or efficiency opportunities.
• Reviews staffing schedules and resource allocation to ensure levels are consistent with budget forecasts.
• Participates in planning meetings, task forces, and work groups with other Area Managers and Distribution Center facilities.
• Facilitates departmental and operational meetings; coordinates job‑related activities and assignments.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and values, promotes a culture of belonging and continuous learning.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering, business, operations management, or logistics).
• At least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a production or operations environment.
• Experience in a distribution center, pharmacy automation, or similar high‑volume, fast‑paced setting.
• Must become a registered pharmacy technician in the state of practice within one year of job entry (if applicable).

• Knowledge of production processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software; ability to use technology to streamline processes.
