Job Description

We are seeking an IT Telecom Analyst with strong experience in telecommunications engineering documentation and documentation management. This role supports telecom projects across the Midwest region and focuses on creating, editing, managing, and maintaining engineering documents using established documentation standards and tools. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Provide telecommunications documentation support for IT and telecom projects
• Create, edit, revise, and maintain telecommunications engineering documents
• Utilize documentation tools such as Adobe, Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, and other standard platforms
• Work with documentation management systems for check-in/check-out, indexing, version control, and attribute updates
• Index, maintain, and verify accurate logging of telecom equipment in various databases
• Create job aids and support training on documentation systems and document standards
• Participate in an enterprise Agile team supporting multiple telecom disciplines and regions
• Prepare accurate technical reports, documentation, correspondence, and sketches for field teams
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards

• Associate's degree with 2+ years of experience in engineering documentation management OR High school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with engineering document creation, revision, and support
• Strong experience with Adobe and MS applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Visio)
• Experience with Micro Station or AutoCAD (preferred)
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders
• Willingness and ability to learn new tools and processes

• Telecommunications or construction engineering documentation experience
• Experience creating technical documentation, training materials, or job aids
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Familiarity with JIRA and basic project management principles
