Responsibilities

• Carry out access control procedures to help deter unauthorized entry and/or exit from the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and document the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the premises according to site‑specific policies.
• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with security‑related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, activities, or conditions to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
• Assist in emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
