Multi-Unit Team Leader

Multi-Unit Team Leader at H&R Block. You will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. The role starts with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transitions to full-time from January through April, including evening and weekend hours as needed. This position is in-person and not remote.

• Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
• Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.
• Assist the DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to resolve issues and address performance concerns.
• Build an engaging team environment across all offices by training and coaching associates and recognizing outstanding contributions.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
• Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for all locations.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
• Aptitude for executing growth plans and building a growth-oriented culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $40.00/hr local minimum wage laws apply.
