• Implement nutrition screening system for cancer patients undergoing active treatment.
• Provide individualized nutrition assessments, counseling and nutrition recommendations based on patients’ specific therapies and nutrition needs utilizing appropriate interpersonal and communication skills
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team patient-care rounds for acute-care cancer patients.
• Provide ongoing nutrition education for patients and in-services for staff addressing nutrition topics and research pertinent to cancer patients.
• Collaborate with other health professionals as appropriate and develop nutrition education and resource materials as needed.
• Attending education programs to maintain status as effective and knowledgeable resource regarding patients’ nutrition needs.
• Consistently meet the goals set forth to maintain Duly Commission on Cancer related to field of expertise
• Attendance in Cancer Tumor Board Conferences

• Proven experience as an Oncology Dietitian.
• BS degree in Dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
• Illinois State License
• Specialized certification in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) preferred.
