This Mechanical Engineering position can be filled at the Entry, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer level. Please refer to the minimum qualifications for each level below.
Salary Range:- Entry-Level - $85,000
- Mid-Level - $90,000 - $111,000
- Senior-Level - $118,000 - $150,000
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll engage in advanced technical problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations, making vital technical decisions based on your extensive knowledge of engineering principles, industry codes, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver expert technical analysis, engineering activities, and programs.
- Consult directly to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
- Manage engineering tasks to ensure quality and compliance with design standards.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses for technical projects.
- Propose new equipment, concepts, and techniques to enhance performance and compliance.
- Participate in emergency response and outage support as required.
- Entry-Level Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) and meet access requirements. - Mid-Level Engineer:
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience and meet access requirements. - Senior Engineer:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience and meet access requirements.
- Experience in Industrial or Power Plant settings is preferred.
