Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as an Educational and Compliance Coach at the childcare center. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our young students receive high-quality education and care in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Educational:
- Develop and implement educational programs and curricula that support the development of children.
- Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities and lessons.
- Observe and evaluate classroom activities and provide feedback to teachers on their practices.
- Assist in the selection of educational materials, books, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on the progress of the children and the educational programs.
- Communicate with families to provide updates on their children's progress and involve them in their education.
- Plan and organize educational events and field trips for the children.
- Ensure that the childcare center is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards regarding education.
- Develop and implement quality improvement plans and strategies for the childcare center.
- Train and coach teachers and staff on best practices in early childhood education and care.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of the childcare center and its programs.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the administration and staff on areas for improvement.
- Assist in the implementation of new programs and initiatives to enhance the quality of care and education.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain and improve knowledge and skills.
- Work closely with other departments, such as administration, to ensure the smooth functioning of the childcare center.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role in a childcare center.
- Knowledge of best practices in early childhood education and care.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for promoting the growth and development of young children.
