Job Description
Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking experienced paraprofessionals to support learning and development in an elementary school setting. This contract position is based in Plainfield, IL, and is aligned with the current school year (CSY) schedule.
Responsibilities- Assist classroom teachers with instructional support and individualized student attention
- Help implement lesson plans and classroom activities tailored to student needs
- Provide support for students with diverse learning abilities, promoting inclusion and engagement
- Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and transitions
- Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior as directed
- Previous paraprofessional experience preferred, especially within elementary school environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Patience, adaptability, and dedication to student success
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently under supervision
- Relevant certifications or training as required by state or district guidelines
- Elementary school setting in Plainfield, Illinois
