Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director for a mission-driven nonprofit organization supporting survivor support services
. This position is onsite in Chicago, Illinois

This part-time Administrative Assistant role provides direct support to the Executive Director while helping coordinate administrative operations, donor relations, and development activities. The position plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations through scheduling, communication, and organizational coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about supporting meaningful nonprofit work.

- Support planning and coordination of organizational events and donor engagement activities
- Maintain organized digital and physical records, documents, and reports
- Provide general operational and administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day functioning
- Administrative support experience in a professional office environment
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and take initiative
This position offers an hourly pay range of $22–$30 per hour
, depending on experience. The role is part-time (approximately 15–20 hours per week), offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful nonprofit mission.
