The Infusion Outpatient Pharmacist will work within the HHCI free standing oncology infusion center; overseeing the daily operations of the Compounded Sterile Products (CSP) area; assist in meeting regulatory compliance; and monitor training, competency assessment and quality assurance/control.
Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the Compounded Sterile Products (CSP) area within the HHCI oncology infusion center.
- Assist in meeting regulatory compliance related to compounded sterile products.
- Monitor training, competency assessment, and quality assurance/control activities.
- Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) strongly preferred. - Experience
:
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred. - Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
:- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good counseling skills with ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and colleagues.
