Job Description:
Western Slope Health Care Center is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. This full-time position is ideal for an individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping patients overcome speech, language, and swallowing challenges. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide essential therapy services, improving patients' quality of life and enhancing their communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide speech and language therapy, including articulation, language development, and swallowing therapy.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet patient goals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred, but not required.
