Current opening is at the following location:
Placerville Portable The El Dorado County Office of Education accepts applications for Classroom Assistant I in the Child Development Program on a year round basis, with no Final date to receive applications. This posting will be used to create an eligibility list. This list will be used for current and future openings. Classroom Assistant I vacancies are for 4 or 5 hour per day positions.

The Western Slope extends from Pollock Pines to El Dorado Hills. Purpose Statement:
Under direction of a teacher assigned to a Child Development program, assists in carrying out learning, recreation, and personal care activities for children ages 3, 4, or 5 years old, following state, federal, and County Office of Education guidelines. Bilingual/Spanish-English speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. Bilingual stipend available upon completion/passing of proficiency exam.

• Prior successful experience interacting with children and adults.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
