Teacher - Child Development - Sutter's Mill
Location: Sutter's Mill, El Dorado County Office of Education
Position Type: Full Time, Internal Candidate Only

Salary: $41,420 - $66,682 annually (based on education & experience)
Work Schedule: 8 Hours/Day, 5 Days/Week, 190 Days/Year, 11 Months/Year
Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Director or designee, the teacher is responsible for providing an engaging and secure learning environment in which children can expand their knowledge and skills through a variety of experiences and interactions which form a foundation for school readiness and later school success.
Qualifications- A Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field with a valid Child Development Site Supervisor Permit is required.
- Must meet Title 22 licensing standards.
- Knowledge of child development, family interaction and community resources is desired.
- A minimum of three years recent experience in Early Care and Education Programs is required.
- Associate of Arts degree in Child Development or related field may be considered with an Educational Plan to complete a Bachelor’s Degree within two years.
