Job SummaryUnder direction of a teacher assigned to a Child Development program,
Child Development Classroom Assistant I assists in carrying out learning, recreation, and personal care activities for children ages 3, 4, or 5 years old, following state, federal, and County Office of Education guidelines. Bilingual/Spanish‑English speaking candidates are encouraged to apply; bilingual stipend available upon completion of the proficiency exam.
Assist with learning, recreation, and personal care activities for children ages 3‑5; ensure activities comply with guidelines; support classroom teacher; maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
Requirements / Qualifications- Experience:
Prior successful experience interacting with children and adults. - Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
