The Assistant Site Manager assists in day‑to‑day operations from site upkeep to guest service and membership sales, and trains a positive team. An outgoing, friendly personality with a passion for guest care is a key component of this role.
EssentialJob Duties
- Manage site staff and maintain a clean, safe & efficient site.
- Assist with daily paperwork in the manager’s absence.
- Train the team on all internal and external programs and build customer loyalty through the membership program.
- Train the team on Monthly Unlimited Wash Memberships and Single Wash Packages.
- Provide daily direction to the staff and ensure safety and compliance procedures are followed.
- Use strong problem‑solving skills and maintain regular communication with the Site Manager.
- Follow on‑site open/close procedures and ensure the site is fully operational during business hours.
- Create a culture and level of interaction that ensures exceptional customer care.
- Provide strong, positive, and proactive leadership to the team with direction, training, and feedback.
- Sustain high product knowledge and preparation.
- Maintain clean work areas and a safe work environment for employees, vendors, and guests.
- Make decisions consistent with job functions and follow directions.
- Perform after‑hours site cleaning (tunnel equipment, tunnel floor, tunnel walls, tunnel pit, vacuum area, walkways, queuing area, etc.).
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including uniform policy.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and internal audits.
- Enjoy working outdoors.
- Be a team player.
- Greet and create an exceptional first impression for all guests.
- Offer & sell Monthly Unlimited Wash Memberships and Single Wash Packages.
- Ensure all vehicles are loaded correctly and safely onto the conveyor.
- Prep vehicles within company guidelines.
- Verify all vehicles are BLISS clean and wipe down vehicles (Quality Control), if applicable.
- Always maintain the highest level of customer care.
- Adapt to the ever‑changing high‑volume retail environment.
- Take initiative when problems arise.
- Adapt flexibly to a variety of situations.
- Pay attention to detail and prioritize deadlines.
- Work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- Improve staff performance through motivation, training, and setting clear expectations.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Lead, support, and contribute to team goals.
- Communicate in English.
- Communicate operational concerns with Management and co‑workers.
- Reports to the Site Manager.
- Works outdoors with exposure to fumes from vehicles, equipment, and cleaning solvents.
- Constant temperature and condition fluctuations.
- Noise and vibration exposure.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand or walk for extended periods.
- Flexible hours, including night, day, weekends, and holidays.
- Operate all related equipment.
