Computer Numerical Control Programmer

Ricaurte Precision Inc. (RPI) has specialized in providing turnkey CNC precision machining services to FDA and aerospace regulated industries for over 30 years. As an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, RPI is equipped with 26 advanced machines, including 4 & 5-axis CNC mills, CNC lathes, Swiss screw machines, and wire EDMs, housed in a 14,400-square-foot facility in Santa Ana, CA. The company focuses on medium to high-volume production of tight-tolerance metal and plastic components.

With over 10,000 machining hours available monthly, RPI is committed to quality, precision, and customer satisfaction. Additional services include finishing, assembly, and delivery.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Santa Ana, CA, for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer. The CNC Programmer is responsible for advanced CNC programming across multi‑axis mills and lathes, including 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑Axis machining centers and live‑tooling lathes. This role provides high‑level technical expertise, mentoring, and collaboration with machinists, operators, Leads, Supervisors, Engineering, and Quality to ensure programs, tooling strategies, and machining processes achieve the highest standards of precision, efficiency, safety, and quality.

The CNC Programmer plays a leadership role in manufacturability decisions, machining optimization, fixturing, tooling strategies, and digital workflow adoption.

• 7+ years CNC machining and programming experience, including multi‑axis machinery.
• 2+ years Esprit programming experience.
• Expert knowledge of zero‑point fixturing, automated work holding, and multi‑axis setups.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and tight‑tolerance machining.
• Wire EDM programming experience preferred.
• Advanced tooling technology experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Fulcrum preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor and train others in programming and machining best practices.

Base Salary: $90,000 - $150,000 annually, DOE

This range reflects the good‑faith estimate of what RPI expects to pay upon hire for this position, as required by California Labor Code §432.3. Ranges are based on the specific role and location and must align with what employers reasonably expect to pay under California’s pay transparency rules.

Actual pay within the range is determined by experience, skillset, and job‑related qualifications. Additional forms of compensation—such as incentives or benefits—may also be offered in accordance with company policy.
