Provider Relationship Manager – Network Physician Engagement - SWHR

Southwestern Health Resources is looking for a highly skilled Provider Relationship Manager. Is that you?

What You Will Do
  • Develop, implement, and enhance provider performance strategy and network growth plan for assigned regions, including incorporating primary care physician feedback, identifying service line and location gaps, and conducting market research.
  • Actively engage stakeholders, including face-to-face outreach to THPG, UTSW, EPN, CAP, and other private practice clinic employees, specialists, and leaders.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to establish and refine workflows that improve care coordination, reduce costs, and increase quality of care.
  • Recruit, onboard, and launch new clinicians and medical groups into the network, including marketing and outreach campaigns to promote services and clinical programs to the community and existing SWHR provider network.
  • Identify challenges to quality and cost‑effective patient care across all service lines and specialties, and seek out opportunities to engage new specialists, services, and facilities.
  • Create detailed presentations for leadership that identify opportunities and demonstrate solutions for improved integration and performance in value‑based care.
  • Ensure and maintain compliance with minimum work standards as defined by organizational leadership committees by partnering with stakeholders and resources both internally and externally.
  • Prepare detailed reports establishing value‑based care performance data, outlining obstacles, and recommending improvements.
  • Log communications with providers, facilities, and leadership teams to maintain momentum and follow‑through.
  • Create opportunities for primary care providers to engage with service line leaders, post‑acute facilities, specialists, and others, and develop best practices to increase connectedness.
  • Monitor and ensure physician performance and compliance to network standards, including total cost of care, quality, network efficiency, risk adjustment, patient experience, and contract‑related metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of action plans, physician credentialing, and opportunities, and prepare ad‑hoc reports as requested.
  • Analyze effectiveness of integration and impact on improved opportunities for care coordination, and monitor progress with Home Health, ED Admissions, and Pathology.
What You Need
  • Education – H.S. Diploma or Equivalent, 4 Years additional experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree;
    Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field;
    Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field (Preferred).
  • Experience – 2 Years experience in health care, managed care, consulting, sales/growth, services, insurance, or account management (with Bachelor’s Degree) or 6 Years experience (without Bachelor’s Degree).
  • Skills – Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, exposure to procedure interpretation and provider networking, ability to make quick independent decisions, mutually beneficial negotiation skills, attention to detail, superior verbal and written communication skills, strong analytic, negotiation and issue resolution abilities, proficient customer service and/or sales experience, excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access).
  • Supervision – Individual Contributor.

  • Physical Demands – Light Work.
  • Travel Requirements – Local 80% Travel to clinics in geographic region and meetings held in greater DFW area.
