Our firm provides consulting engineering services for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and energy systems
, allowing us to deliver fully integrated building designs for architects, developers, and facility owners.
Engineers at Smith Miller Associates work on projects from early system studies and concept development through construction administration

What You'll Do- Design HVAC and building mechanical systems
- Prepare mechanical plans, specifications, and calculations
- Perform heating, cooling, and ventilation system design
- Coordinate with electrical and plumbing engineering teams
- Support permitting and construction documentation
- Participate in projects from design through construction
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- EIT required (PE or ability to obtain preferred)
- Experience with HVAC or building mechanical systems
- Familiarity with building codes and energy standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ownership track for high-performing engineers
- Hybrid work schedule
