Council on Aging
Van Driver (Part-Time, Biweekly)
Pay: $22.32 per hour
The Town of Manchester‑by‑the‑Sea Council on Aging is seeking a dependable and friendly Van Driver to provide transportation services for senior residents.
Schedule
Biweekly (every other week):
Tuesday–Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Monday & Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Transport seniors to medical appointments, shopping, and programs
- Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle, including wheelchair users
- Operate wheelchair lift (training provided)
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
- Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass CORI/SORI background check
