Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Lactation Consultant Program Coordinator for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA .

This position is responsible for providing expert assessment, treatment, consultation, planning, and leadership oversight for optimal lactation management in both the inpatient and outpatient settings . For patients with advanced lactation support needs, the team will formulate an interdisciplinary plan of care and communicate with the care team related to these goals and plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and vital signs
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform nursing procedures within the RN scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families on care, medications, and discharge needs
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Respond to emergencies and perform interventions as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic care environment
- Support and guide unlicensed assistive personnel when required
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
- Pay package details provided upon offer
- 1+ years of experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) - Equivalent Certs NOT accepted is required
- A MINIMUM of 2500 hours as a breastfeeding consultant is required
- Experience with inpatient lactation programs [required]
- Outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultations, and/or teaching experience are required
- Meditech Expanse experience [strongly preferred]
- CERTS MUST BE IN HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD. PLEASE INCLUDE IN PROFILE. FACILITY WILL NOT PEND UPON OFFER - This is non-negotiable
- Perm address must be included with the profile
- Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment) is required
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
