Shift Type: Day shifts, 8-hour shifts, 40-hour guarantee (facility sets exact start/end times; schedule provided at time of submission).

Roles & Responsibilities Perform and assist with vascular and interventional radiology procedures using sterile technique, including angiograms, peripheral revascularization, and vascular access placement
Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing renal, liver, and lung biopsies, nephrostomy and gastrostomy/jejunostomy tube management
Maintain and troubleshoot central lines, hemodialysis catheters, ports and other vascular access devices
Support cardiology procedures including cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology cases when needed
Monitor patient hemodynamics and cardiac rhythm, recognizing and responding to changes promptly
Document care thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record (Meditech Expanse preferred)
Participate in mandatory education and maintain competency with ACLS/BLS and defibrillation protocols
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care
Qualifications Current Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology (IR) / IR RN experience [REQUIRED]
Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology experience [REQUIRED]
Active American Heart Association ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications [REQUIRED]
Defibrillation certification [REQUIRED] and strong IV skills
Critical Care/CCU experience and ability to function independently in high-acuity settings
Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years [REQUIRED]
Traveler must have a personal vehicle and include permanent address in profile
Note:
Candidates who reside within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
Knowledge & Skills Expertise in vascular access, catheter management and interventional radiology procedures
Strong cardiac rhythm recognition and hemodynamic monitoring
Proficiency with IV therapy, central line care and dialysis catheter maintenance
Ability to work under fluoroscopy and understand imaging-guided procedural workflows
Excellent sterile technique and procedural assistance skills
Comfortable with electronic charting;
Meditech Expanse a plus
Calm, decisive critical thinking in fast-paced, high-stress environments
Clear communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary clinical teams
