Schedule:

13-week assignment; every other weekend and holidays as needed; 8-hour non-billable orientation; patient ratio 1:3 in a 3-bed unit
Highlights:
Small, family-centered pediatric unit in a community hospital setting
Maximum census of 3 patients with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
Supportive environment with access to respiratory therapists, IV therapists, and Family Birthplace staff backup
Meditech Expanse EMR system in use (strongly preferred experience)
Family-friendly care model with rooming-in accommodations and child life resources
Limited time-off requests considered; maximum 3 days during assignment
Requirements:
Active Massachusetts RN license
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
Minimum 3 years of current pediatric nursing experience (required)
Adult Medical-Surgical experience (preferred for float coverage)
Current Pediatric and Medical-Surgical skills checklists (within 1 year)
BSN preferred
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Reliable personal transportation required
Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required for submission
Strong attendance and dependability record essential
