Schedule:

8-hour shifts; weekends and holidays as needed; patient ratio 1:2 in a 20-bed unit
Highlights:
Critical Care unit with 20 beds and manageable 1:2 patient ratios
Exposure to advanced critical care skills including ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
Flexibility to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
Meditech Expanse EMR system in use
13-week assignment with 8-hour non-billable orientation
Holiday and overtime multipliers available at 1.25%
Requirements:
Active Massachusetts RN license and Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool)
Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care experience
Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Experience with ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring required
Willingness to float to PCU as needed
Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Reliable transportation required
Limited time-off requests (maximum 5 days) must be submitted at time of application
