Travel RN - Operating Room - First Assist

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN First Assist for operating room day shifts in Massachusetts, requiring 2 years' recent first assist experience and CNOR certification.

Job Details

• Position based in a hospital operating room with 8 beds,

• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday,

• Eight-hour shifts, no shift accommodations accepted,

• On-call responsibility by rotation,

• No weekend shifts required, but holiday coverage may be required if needed,

• Meditech Expanse EMR used; experience is highly preferred,

• Facility provides scrubs for staff,

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of consideration,

• Minimum of 2 years' current first assist operating room experience required,

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required,

• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required,

• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) required,

• 1 recent supervisory signed reference from the past two years required,

• Completed skills checklist for first assist operating room within the past year required,

• Must have own vehicle for transportation,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility,

Additional Information

• Responsible for first assisting in various surgical procedures in the operating room setting,

• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted, and all RTO requests must be made prior to submission,

• Orientation is 8 hours and non-billable,

• Holiday work may be required as needed,

• Candidates are required to provide work history and all certifications during application,

• Scheduling requests will not be approved after submission or at the time of offer,
