Youth Development Professional

OUR CAREER SITE:

Hillcrest Educational Centers is looking for Youth Development Professionals (direct care workers) for our all boys' campus - Highpoint.

Highpoint is a trauma informed care residential treatment setting for males aged 11-21 with a variety of high-risk behaviors and mental health diagnoses. Many of the students who reside at Highpoint have trauma histories involving past abuse, neglect, loss and bullying. Highpoint provides an intensely structured, therapeutic and nurturing environment with high staff to student ratios. This allows the students to learn new skills including coping skills, emotional regulation skills, mindfulness skills and interpersonal relationship skills to help them become more successful as they prepare for transition to a lower level of care or community setting.

Part-time or Full-time positions are AVAILABLE!

Pay Range: $22.00-$25.25/hr (based on the highest level of education and applicable experience) + Shift Differ entails ( additional $0.50/hr, $0.82/hr, $2.50/hr or $2.75/hr)

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and well-being of all students in your assigned area.
• Supporting students in acquiring coping skills by guiding them to make thoughtful choices and understand the impact of their decisions.
• Participating as a member of the Treatment Team to help ensure consistent care and support.
