Job Details- Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201 (Berkshires region) — Massachusetts travel nurse opportunity
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 22, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 – $2,220 (competitive pay for travel nurses / travel RNs)
- Setting: Critical Care (ICU) — may float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week — night shift ICU RN
- Unit Size: 20 beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
- Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
- Weekends/Holidays: As needed
- Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care (ICU) nursing experience — ICU RN / Critical Care Nurse
- Active Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile) — MA RN required
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience with ventilators, intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to float to PCU as needed (required)
- Traveler must have a reliable vehicle for commute
- Profile must include work history, current skills checklist (Critical Care, within 1 year), and one supervisory signed reference from the past two years
- All requested time off must be included at submission (no more than 5 days)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and BSN preferred
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU — critical care nursing responsibilities
- Monitor and manage advanced critical care interventions, including ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic support
- Float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed to support patient care needs
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures (Meditech Expanse charting when applicable)
- Participate in orientation, unit education, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and families
- Work in a collaborative, high-acuity ICU with experienced critical care teams
