LPN - BFS Urgent Care

Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of the Medical Director, Mid-level Provider, and /or Clinical Manager. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center and Berkshire Faculty Services clinical services.

• Support the nursing process and function under the direction of the Medical Director, Mid-level Provider, and /or Clinical Manager. Adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center and Berkshire Faculty Services clinical services.

• Experience:
  
  Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing. Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures. Experience in Urgent Care, phlebotomy, specimen testing, IV therapy preferred.
• Education and Training:
  Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• License, Certification & Registration: LPNSA - Licensed Practical Nurse, Satellite Office.
• Other Requirements:
  Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulations. Assures compliance with unit-specific scope of practice. Working knowledge of Windows based PC applications required. Ability to work independently and take direction. Self-motivated and able to be independent and flexible in a team framework. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
