The Key Program is a private, non‑profit human service agency whose mission is to assist children, youth, and families to develop positive life skills so they may pursue productive and rewarding lives.

We are seeking a 16–20 hour per week Registered Nurse to work in three (3) DCF adolescent residential programs in Pittsfield, MA. Each program serves up to nine youth. The work schedule is consistent week to week during business hours and will be discussed with the candidate during the screening process to meet the program and individual needs.

Hourly wage: $41.50.

• Observing all MAP Certified staff prepare and administer medication in a manner consistent with all MAP policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Verifying HCP orders are current, properly transcribed and being administered accordingly.
• Verifying that medication is properly procured, counted and stored.
• Reviewing documentation of medication being administered at the site to ensure that proper clinical protocols are in place and are being observed.
• Ensuring submission and follow‑up of Medication Occurrence Reports and determining areas where further training or other intervention may be needed.
• Communicating with State MAP Coordinators regarding findings relative to Technical Assistance reviews/audits performed at the site.
• Working collaboratively with program supervisory and clinical staff to identify and address medication administration‑related training needs for certified staff.
• Facilitating MA MAP Certification training, MAP recertification training, and other required trainings such as vital signs, Epi‑pen, routes, etc.

• Registered Nurse with at least two years of RN experience.
• Minimum age 21 years.
