Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Educator for a Family Birthplace unit focused on OR circulation for C-sections, requiring a MA RN license and strong perinatal experience.

Responsibilities
Position is in the Family Birthplace unit with a focus on operating room circulation for C-sections
Schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required
No on-call responsibilities

Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred
Primary responsibility is educating operating room circulation for C-section procedures
Holiday coverage is part of the expected schedule
No travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered
No more than 3 days of requested time off will be accepted during the assignment
Must submit proof of permanent address and required documents at time of consideration
One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required
First-time travelers will be considered if all requirements are met
Scrub or dress code will be specified by the unit upon start

Requirements
Active Massachusetts RN license in hand at time of consideration
BSN or higher degree required
Current certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NRP, all in hand
Minimum 3 years of RN Educator experience in the perinatal field required
High proficiency in L&D or circulating for C-sections is required; straight L&D only backgrounds will not be considered
Experience educating on circulating in the OR for C-sections is required
Must have a personal vehicle for the assignment
8 hours of non-billable orientation required
COVID vaccination with dose on or after 10/3/23, or approved exemption with mask requirement
