Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical RN – Massachusetts

Start Date: January 26, 2026
Location: Western Massachusetts
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, 1:6 patient ratio, every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed

Highlights:

• Med-Surg unit with 20–34 beds depending on assignment
• Telemetry monitoring experience required with float opportunities across similar units
• Meditech Expanse EMR system in use (experience strongly preferred)
• 13-week assignment with 8-hour non-billable orientation
• Holiday and overtime multiplier at 1.25%
• Limited time-off requests accepted (maximum 5 days, noted at time of submission)

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 2 years current Medical Surgical experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be active prior to start)
• Willingness to float to any Med-Surg unit
• Current Medical Surgical skills checklist (within 1 year)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
• Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency license required for agency partners
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Reliable personal vehicle required
