Position Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse – Physician Practice at Berkshire Health Systems

Location:

Williamstown, MA. Pay: $35.00–$39.04 per hour.

• Coordinated team-based care to provide health services to individuals, through effective partnerships with patients, their caregivers/families, community resources and their physician. Facilitates a "shared goal model" within and across the setting to achieve coordinated, high-quality preventive care that is patient and family-centered. The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner and/or Professional Registered Nurse.

• Experience:
  
  Clinical and administrative experience in a physician office setting preferred.
• Education and Training:
  Must be a graduate of an LPN course given by an accredited school.
• License, Certification & Registration: LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse; BLS.
• Other Requirements:
  Proficiency in Windows-based computer skills required;
  Excellent customer service skills a must;
  Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting is required;
  High level of attention to detail, prioritization, organization, and multitasking a must;
  Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with patients and co‑workers orally or in written format is required;
  Meets continuing education requirements in accordance with state licensing regulations.
