The First Shift Welder / Fabricator is responsible for welding and fabricating steel components used in the assembly of armored vehicles. Ideal candidates have strong MIG welding experience, can read fabrication prints, and take pride in producing high‑quality, safety‑critical work.

• Perform MIG welding on steel components and assemblies
• Fabricate parts according to engineering drawings, prints, and work orders
• Fit, tack, and assemble components prior to final welding
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
• Grind, clean, and finish welds to meet quality and appearance standards
• Inspect welds for accuracy, penetration, and structural integrity
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• 2+ years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong MIG welding skills (TIG experience a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints
• Experience working with steel and structural components
• Comfortable using grinders, saws, and fabrication tools
• High attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
