The Second Shift Laser Operator is responsible for operating state-of-the-art CNC laser cutting machine to produce high-precision steel and armor plate components. Ideal candidates have experience with CNC operation and take pride in maintaining high tolerances.

• Operate Trumpf CNC laser cutting equipment to cut armor plate according to specifications.
• Load and unload heavy materials using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Review blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure high-tolerance accuracy.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Verify material thickness and grade before beginning the cutting process.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.

• 2+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines.
• Experience with Trump CNC equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail.
• Experience with material handling equipment (overhead cranes/forklifts).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
