Department Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced CNC Department Supervisor to manage day-to-day production within our Laser and Press Brake operations. You’ll lead a fast-paced team producing precision armor plate components, ensuring targets are met while maintaining strict standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. The right candidate is a proven shop-floor leader who can coach operators, troubleshoot processes, and drive continuous improvement.

• Lead and supervise operators running CNC laser cutting and hydraulic press brake equipment
• Direct workflow from initial laser cutting through final precision bending of armor components
• Review blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure production accuracy
• Select proper tooling and dies for heavy-gauge steel fabrication
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs for CNC machinery
• Monitor quality control using precision measuring tools to verify tolerances
• Coordinate material handling processes using cranes and forklifts

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a CNC machine shop or heavy metal fabrication environment
• Strong expertise in CNC programming and operation, preferably with Trumpf equipment
• Advanced knowledge of heavy-gauge steel behavior, bend allowances, and fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints

• Background in safely moving heavy materials using overhead cranes and forklifts
