The Mountain Mechanic is a hands‑on, skilled position responsible for maintaining and repairing Bousquet’s fleet of vehicles, grooming equipment, lifts, and small engines.

Reporting directly to the Mountain Manager and Assistant Operations Manager, this role leads daily operations in the maintenance shop and ensures equipment is safe, reliable, and ready to support mountain operations.

• Perform and oversee maintenance on grooming machines, lift equipment, vehicles, and small engines
• Support lift operations by assisting with inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Help keep the maintenance shop clean, safe, and well‑organized
• Maintain simple logs of completed maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment needs are met
• Jump in where needed during busy periods—including general support

• 3+ years’ experience in diesel, vehicle, or small engine repair
• Strong mechanical instincts and troubleshooting ability
• Experience with Prinoth or similar grooming machines a plus
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable, self‑directed, and willing to learn
• Record‑keeping is a bonus, but not a requirement—we have support staff to assist
