MRI Technician
Schedule: M-F with rotating weekends | 7:00 am - 3:30 pm | Relocation Available
Our client is seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join their diagnostic imaging team. This full‑time position plays a vital role in delivering quality imaging services and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional capable of working independently while ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging equipment, and upholding the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a comprehensive range of MRI procedures using independent judgment and technical expertise.
- Deliver safe and compassionate patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital protocols.
- Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment, including PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, and DR systems.
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA standards and hospital infection control practices.
- Participate in continuing education activities and complete required competency validations.
- May assume supervisory or mentoring responsibilities based on departmental needs.
- Completion of an AMA‑approved program in MRI.
- Current CPR certification & ARRT(MR) certification required within two years of hire.
- Student training in MRI or diagnostic radiology is accepted as minimum experience.
- Massachusetts Radiography License & ARRT(RTR) certification.
- Proficiency with MRI equipment and related systems (PACS, HIS, RIS).
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure clinical environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong commitment to safety and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
